Zombie-Proof Levels

Zombie Apocalypse: Any challenge, especially unpredictable or involving undead, that requires physical capability, fortitude or resourcefulness, and in the face of which, most will be unprepared, helpless, and fail.

Level 1: New Recruit

(joint mobility/stability, bodyweight strength, and aerobic base)

Armor is about protection. The key factor in longevity is strength. Physical, mental, and emotional strength is your armor against the challenges of the world. The training at this level will get you started.

Level 2: Outbreak Survivor

(bilateral strength and VO2max)

Survivor means you have to protect yourself before you can help anyone else. You are no good to anyone if you get bit. This training will build useful function for both disasters and daily life.

Level 3: Safehouse Defender

(unilateral strength and anaerobic intervals)

Defender is about being capable enough that you can not only save yourself, but help others as well: loved ones, friends, and your community.

Level 4: Horde Slayer

(power and lactic acid tolerance)

Slayer means having the strength to not only save yourself and protect others, but to be able to go out into the world and fight darkness in all its forms - to fight for all that is good and right.

Level 5: Zombie-proof

Zombie-proof is the greatest honor and highest level, earned with hard work, focus and perseverance, and it comes with the greatest responsibility. No one can take away the achievement from the one that has earned it. No evil can stand for long in the face of the warriors who wield this strength.

5 levels of 7 movements

Use any training methods you like. Only the results matter. If your methods improve your performance in a sustainable way, then they are good methods.

Below are the standards for the levels. To successfully attain each level, you must meet all seven standards for that level.

Train smart, progress slowly, and don't get hurt. If you are hurt, then you are not able to help yourself or others.
